《Flower Hour》 is a project exhibition featuring the works of the passionate aspiring artists of the Daniel Welfare Center, held from August 17th to 20th 2023. Through the art lessons provided by BeFriend, an educational volunteer group based in NLCS Jeju, young artists at the center created works inspired by the theme of flowers, using various mediums. Flowers symbolize growth, beauty, and the different stages of life— much like the journey of these young creators who develop their artistic skills and express themselves through art, regardless of their intellectual disability. Flower Hour is a timeless space where artists can come together and immerse themselves in the garden of art. We invite our audience to immerse themselves in the world of flowers as seen through the eyes of these exceptional young artists. It is an hour dedicated to exploration, empathy, and appreciation for their unique perspectives as conveyed in their works of art.
